Taking Over the Airwaves with Themis

themisStoneHouse Logic has teamed up with Themis at Burnley College to help promote apprenticeships. 107,000 listeners in Lancashire can now hear all about apprenticeships on local radio station 2BR.

Themis are one of the region’s leading providers of work based training and apprenticeships; working with businesses to help them get the staff and the skills they need to grow whilst helping young people find the right careers and opportunities.

At StoneHouse Logic we are passionate about apprenticeships – we have always found great staff through this route, across the business we currently have 3 apprentices and 6 staff who started out as one.

The production team from 2BR came into our head office and interviewed both Commercial Director Sally Hope and former apprentice Jack Doran for the advert.

Jack talked about starting as an apprentice and how comfortable and happy he is working here and Sally explained what it is that StoneHouse Logic looks for in an apprentice.

Sally said: “We need people who love computers and want to work in this industry – everything else we can teach them along the way. The main thing we look for is enthusiasm and the desire to learn and to give it their all.”

We are hoping that our advert will encourage more apprenticeship applications and we will find more talented individuals to join the ever growing team here at StoneHouse Logic.
