A growing company, like One Cost, needs to have a strong and easily managed IT infrastructure, and the advice and support they receive needs to be of the same calibre that they offer to their customers. As One Cost were in a time of rapid expansion, they needed to allow their infrastructure to grow alongside them, and an IT Partner that would continue to assist them as they face new challenges; StoneHouse Logic was the obvious choice.

THE COMPANY —

Established in 2004, Warrington based One Cost Limited has continued to expand and grow in substance and reputation. Created from an original idea, the One Cost concept is simple; using the collective purchasing of many to drive down the prices for individual businesses. The expanding One Cost team helps hospitality based businesses control and reduce cost while growing margin and increasing profit contribution. Expanding across the northwest has led to an increased customer base and higher demand.

THE CHALLENGE —

Having developed a successful business model, One Cost were concerned that the robustness of their IT systems and support were not in line with their growth plan. To that end, they decided to find an IT partner to work with. They originally explored three companies as potential organisations to work with. As it was still early days for them as a business, they had reservations about cost and although StoneHouse Logic were impressive, their first choice was to go elsewhere. This proved to be the wrong decision as what they actually needed was sound knowledge, expert advice and support: “you get what you pay for!”

WHY STONEHOUSE? —

After 12 months StoneHouse Logic were invited back to the table to re-explore the opportunity of working together. The message was consistent and the pricing remained the same as the original quote to undertake the server and support package. Now in the fourth year of the relationship, One Cost continue to be impressed with StoneHouse’s ability to integrate with their company. “They are always there to support our agenda. THE SOLUTION —

Since One Cost re-visited StoneHouse Logic, the issues they were experiencing with their servers have been resolved, StoneHouse have also supported their third party telecoms company and offered additional advice with a regional development project on how best to structure the server to assist with the end product. StoneHouse Logic have also introduced a Sage CRM into the business offering “invaluable support and assistance over and above any expectations.”

FUTURE CHALLENGES —
